Macario and Matilde Mayorga, of Kingsville, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on Oct. 7, 2007.
The couple married Oct. 7, 1962, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Kingsville.
They couple has three children Macario Mayorga Jr., George (Anna Marie) Mayorga and John Mayorga and two grandchildren.

Gertrudis “Gary” Manuel and Mary Lou Munoz of Kingsville, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6, 2007,
An anniversary dinner was held at St. Martin’s Mutualistas Hall given by family and friends.
The couple married Sept. 18, 1982, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kingsville.
They have four children Leslie Ann Munoz (Tony Loera), Toni Munoz (Roy Delagarza), J.R. (Selina) Munoz and Ruben Munoz, all of Kingsville; five grandchildren, Tres, Sergio and Celeste Delagarza, Mateo Munoz and Rylee Munoz.
Mary Lou is employed with Harrel’s Pharmacy in Kingsville and Gary is employed with the City of Kingsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Juan F. Resendez Jr. of Kingsville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Margie Angel Resendez, to Anthony Ray Carrales, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ely Carrales Sr. of Premont. A Dec. 8, 2007 wedding is planned at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Kingsville. The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of H.M. King High and a 2004 graduate of Texas A&M-Kingsville. The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Premont High School and a 2003 graduate of Coastal Bend College. The bride-elect is currently employed with Alice ISD as a science teacher and coach. The groom-elect is currently employed with Quality Dodge in Kingsville as an automotive technician.

Daniel and Christina Smith, of Kingsville, announce the birth of their son, Jesse Daniel Smith, born Sept. 26, 2007.
He weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are George and Gracie Alvarez of Kingsville.
Paternal grandparents are Daniel and Norma Smith of Kingsville.
Maternal great-grandparents are Rebecca and Guadalupe Martinez of Ega and Dora and Amadeo Alvarez of Kingsville.
Paternal great-grandparents are Pablo and Lilly Gomez of Kingsville and Joan Smith of Detroit, Mich.
