Officiating the ceremony were Deacon John Joiner and Father Bruno Mikolajczyk. Wendy Keys provided piano accompaniment and the Soloist was Karen Norskow. Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner, and dance were held at the Al Amin Pavilion in Corpus Christi. John Garcia with Blue Moon Entertainment provided music for the evening. The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Terry Plumley of Northwest Corpus Christi, the granddaughter of Edgar Lloyd of Bishop, and the late Barbara Lloyd of Bishop, and the late Alice Bendele of Corpus Christi. The groom is the son of Wesley and Patti Rogers of Bishop, the grandson of Norma Vest of Bishop and the late Joe Vest of Bishop, Linda Rogers of McAllen, and the late Lee Rogers of McAllen, and the great-grandson of the late Josephine Smith of Alvin. The bride was presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. The bride wore a white satin A-lined Mori Lee gown with a sweetheart, strapless neckline on a contoured bodice with elaborate embroidery and intricate beading finishing with a drop waistline. The beautiful embroidery and beaded detail continued around a hemline band and extended upward from the chapel-length train. She also wore an elbow-length veil accented with crystals and pearls and carried a bouquet of mini-calla lilies with stephanotis. The bridesmaids wore chocolate brown satin strapless Jessica McClintock sheared front dresses with a pleated train. They also wore Tracy Tenpenny custom designed turquoise and brown jewelry and carried long-stemmed calla lilies. Serving as maid of honor was Heather Roecker of Northwest Corpus Christi. Bridesmaids were Trisha Wittliff of Northwest Corpus Christi, Bridget Salinas of Robstown, Ashley Whipple of Plano, Sarah Winston of San Antonio, and Paige Rogers of Kingsville, sister of the groom. Serving as best man was Albert Bunch of Grand Prairie. Groomsmen were Eric Mechelle and Ernie Mechelle of Bishop, Payton Dodson of Corpus Christi, Miles Cavanaugh of Bishop, cousin of the groom, and Kyle Plumley of Northwest Corpus Christi, brother of the bride. The flower girl was Macy Cavanaugh of Bishop, cousin of the groom. Ring bearers were John Daniel Bendele of Corpus Christi, cousin of the bride, and Zachary Vest of League City, cousin of the groom. After a wedding trip to Jamaica, they will reside in Bishop. The bride is a Calallen High School and Texas A&M-Kingsville graduate. She is a staff accountant at The Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown. The groom is a graduate of Bishop High School and is a field superintendent at Pat’s P&A, Inc. in Bishop. |
