He was born January 28, 1930 to William Prinz and Ida Meyer Prinz in Manor, TX. The family moved to Driscoll, TX in 1941. He was a former resident of Bishop and graduated in 1947 from Bishop High School.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; son Brian Ray Prinz; sister, Lydia Felder; and four brothers, Erwin, Robert, Emmitt and Willie Prinz.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Dorothy Ray Prinz of Corpus Christi, TX; daughter, Dianne (Rene’) Mendiola of Corpus Christi; son, Donald (Beth) Prinz Carter of La Porte, TX; six grandsons, Brandon, William, and Michael Mendiola, and Aaron, Andrew and Adam Carter; a great-granddaughter, Madison Carter; two brothers, Cleburn Prinz of Kerrville, TX and Lester Prinz of Corpus Christi, TX; three sisters, Louise Nauert of Lindenhurst, NY, Gertrude Peterson of Round Rock, TX, and Rosie Lee Schroeder of Bishop, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church located at 808 Louisiana Pkwy, Corpus Christi, on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
Interment was at Seaside Memorial Park located at 4357 Ocean Dr., Corpus Christi.
Memorials donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Corpus Christi.
Pallbearers were René Mendiola, Brandon Mendiola, William Mendiola, Kenneth Prinz, Russell Prinz and Charlie Toler.
