Manuela E. Alvarado - Manuela E. Alvarado, age 78, passed away at her home on Monday, September 3, 2007. She was born October 5, 1928 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Ramon Escarcega and Isabel Molinar. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Alvarado Manuela is survived by her two sons, Enrique Frias of Imperial Nebraska, and Ernesto(Socorro) Frias of Chihuahua, Mexico; daughters, Estela Frias of Chihuahua, Mexico, and Bertha (Sergio) Morales of Kingsville, Texas; 19 grandchildren; (grandchildren she raised Jessenia Hernandez, Ness Morales, and Melissa Morales all of Kingsville, Texas);and one sister, Jesus Florentino of El Paso, Texas. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2007 with a prayer service recited that same evening at 7:00 PM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
