She was born March 8, 1920, in Devine, to Mr. and Mrs. Hilario (Teresa) Martinez.
Survivors include two daughters, Celia Carbajal, Mary (Julio) Leal both of Driscoll; six son, Moses (Jeannette) Colunga, Juan (Janie) Colunga, Reynaldo Colunga, Ramon (Maria Elena) Colunga all of Driscoll, Frank (Consuelo) Colunga, Rene Colunga both of Kingsville; one sister, Corina Ybarra of Rosenburg; one brother, Luis Martinez of Anton, 25 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation and rosary was held September 7.
A funeral service was held September 9, at 3:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Driscoll.
A burial followed at De Luz Cemetery in Driscoll.
