He was born on March 18, 1922, to Jesse Foust and Myrtle Thomas Foust, in Oilton, Okla. Foust was a pipe fitter for the oil industry until his retirement. Foust, a Baptist, was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include one son, Paul R. Foust; one daughter, Linda Thomas of Katy; three stepsons, Jimmie (Billie) Harris of Victoria, David (Patsy) Harris of Jacksonville, Fla., and Gloyd (Shelby) Harris of Huntsville, Ala.; one grandson; nine step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Aug. 15 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with the family receiving friends that evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ron Earley officiating. Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville with military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Military Funeral Detail. |
