She was born on Nov. 17, 1914, in Holladay, Tenn., to Berry Malin and Icy Franks Malin.
Braun was co-owner of Television Center until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of the First Baptist Church since the early 1940s. She was the secretary for nursery and children at First Baptist for over 30 years.
She was a member of the Soroptomist Club and Cenisa Garden Club.
Survivors include daughter, Ruth (Jim) Chiles of Kingsville; son, Bill (Peggy) Braun of Kerrville; sister, Mary Lee (Buster) Hickman of Irving; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Aug. 8 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Earley officiating.
