Faustino Garza - Faustino Garza, 86, of Kingsville, died July 2, 2007, at his residence in Kingsville. He was born Feb. 15, 1921, to Gonzalo and Maria Garza in Rio Grande City. He retired after 21 years of service with the maintenance department at Texas A&M University in Kingsville. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Judith Mata Garza of Kingsville; one son, Jesus Garza of Houston; three daughters, Janie Lerma of Houston, Melba Garza, Anna Espinosa, both of Kingsville; one brother, Ismael Pena of Florida; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 4 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A rosary was held at 7 p.m. July 4 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral Mass was held at 2 p.m. July 5 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kingsville with the Rev. Joe Torres officiating. Burial followed at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetary.
