Velma Jean Allgood - Velma Jean Allgood, 59, of Riviera, died July 12, 2007. She was born February 25, 1948, to Willie Elizabeth Kelly and Herbert Hunter in Kingsville. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Allgood of Riviera; son, David M. (Emiko) Allgood; daughters, Marie Jeannette (Christopher) Thrift, and Betty Joe Roan; brothers, Norris Hunter, and Walter Hunter; sisters, Betty L. Rule, Faye Shoenberger, and Sharon Hunter; grandchildren, Damion James Roan, Zakeriia Allgood, Ryan Allgood and Bonnie Thrift; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held July 15 at Riviera Praise and Worship with the Rev. Rodney Light officiating. Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville was in charge of the arrangements.
