University bookstore hosts Potter book party Will Harry survive? - Will Harry Potter survive his seven-year battle with Lord Voldemort, or will both have to die to rid the wizarding world of the evil menace? Be among the first to know by purchasing a copy of at The Texas A&M University-Kingsville bookstore will host a Harry Potter Party from 9 p.m. Friday, July 20, through 1 a.m. Saturday, July 21. The latest book in the series, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, will officially be released at midnight. Local wizards are encouraged to come to the party in costume with judges deciding the best. There also will be a Harry Potter Trivia Contest and door prizes including a boxed set of the first six Potter books valued at $150. Refreshments will be served no purchase is required to join in the fun and games University Bookstore is located in the Memorial Student Union Building on Santa Gertrudis Avenue at University Boulevard.
