Students in KISD and other area school districts began classes Monday. Pictured from left are Brianna Gonzalez, Brandon Rodriguez, Nikolas Garcia, Alyssa Cruz and Mallory Rodriguez. Lamar, a TEA ‘Recognized’ school, serves pre-kindergarten to first grade students. Kleberg and Harrel elementary schools were also rated as “Recognized” schools.
