The district does not have any debt service. The district has 86 employees with 70 of them being teachers. Most of the expenditures are for salaries, according to Hickey. Riviera ISD has 490 students enrolled this year. Riviera ISD will have to refund $257,000 in tax revenue to the King Ranch as part of a lawsuit settle between King Ranch and the Kleberg County Appraisal District King Ranch sued the appraisal district and reached a successful settlement over the method the district used to determine the value of certain ranchland. |
