Pictured above is Fire Marshal Roel Cavazos surveying two homes and a storage building that were engulfed in flames early this morning, and City of Kingsville fire officials were at the scene throughout today investigating the cause of the blaze. No one was injured and the buildings were vacant at the time of the incident. The Kingsville Fire Department responded to a fire call from the Kingsville Police Department at 165 West Avenue D. Several firefighters were on the scene and used water and foam to put out the fire, which took place at about 3:30 a.m. Firefighters from Naval Air Station Kingsville assisted in battling the blaze, Fire Chief Al Lopez said.
